Treatment for needy animals at the location

With our mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies to make our Rescue efforts more effective. Since stray animals are not always fond of being taken to hospitals for treatment, we realized that treatment at the location would be the most efficient way to reach and help more animals in need. We operate 3 Animal Mobile Medical Units (AMMU) in and around the Thane city area. Our AMMUs are fully equipped with facilities such as Oxygen Cylinders, Crash Carts, Medication, Saline, and Fluid therapy medication and equipment. So far, we have treated over 30,000 animals on the street. We see an average of 40 patients a day. These cases range from minor issues such as wounds and skin infections to major issues such as renal or hepatic failure, infections such as gastroenteritis, and major wounds and illnesses. We operate with a special focus on low-income areas of the city so that these animals who have no access to medical care, can receive it when it is necessary. We work closely with various communities in low-income areas to make sure that awareness is spread about animals and people in the area care for animals more.
